More Reasons to Stay Strong
Welcome, friends, to another week. Some time ago, I blogged about staying strong. As the day approaches, be joyful; there will be rewards in Heaven for those who have been saved. Sadly, millions have not decided to follow Christ. Moreover, we see a world in chaos, just as the Bible says. When Christians stand up for Christ, we have become shunned and even jailed. Freedom of free speech and references to the Bible or the truth is also under attack by suppression or punishment. As we see the beast system rising, I want to encourage you with fifteen reasons to remain in the fight and continue looking for Christ. That said, one of my favorite verses is this: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
As we look for his glorious appearance, think about these things. We will:
1. Have joy and pleasure forever. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11
2. Live in paradise. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Luke 23:43
3. Live in our mansions. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2
4. Have glorified bodies. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:17
5. Be heirs with Christ. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:17
6. Be with the Lord. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
7. Have a better country. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:16
8. Live in righteousness. Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13
9. Have eternal life: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19
10. Rule and reign with Jesus. And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10
11. Know that Jesus will reign forever. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 11:15
12. Rest. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13
13. Not have any more tears, death or sorrow. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4
14. See Jesus’s face. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Revelation 22:4
15. God will be our light. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.Revelation 22:5
I hope this blog is a blessing to all who search for Christ or may have never read the Bible. God’s love is unmatched and will always continue. He is the ruler of all and he offers salvation- (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), no questions asked when you believe with your heart. It is only too late to accept his offer of salvation when a person dies. God gives grace and mercy each day, therefore each day, is another chance to accept his gift. I'd love to hear from you.
